- Custom Domain: We use Google Domains to manage your privacy, security and DNS performance. If you have a domain already, we’ll help you migrate it there. - Cloudflare Managed DNS: Once you have your domain safely in your Google Account or hosted on our Google Account, we hand over the DNS management to Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare for a number of super nerdy technical reasons found here: https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/what-is-cloudflare/ & https://wpengine.com/solution-center/cloudflare/ . Essentially, it boils down to an additional layer of security and backup for you website.
- WP Engine on GCP for Bulletproof Performance and Security: We host all ours sites on a Fizzy-dedicated environment with WP Engine’s Google Cloud Platform Compute-Optimized Virtual Machines. This high performance technology isn’t available to regular customers of WP Engine nor is it available on any other dedicated WordPress host.
- WordPress Core and Plugin Updates: We keep all sites continuously updated to the latest versions of PHP, SQL, WordPress, and Plugin Versions for continual high performance and security.
- Studiopress Themes on the Genesis Framework or Themetrust Themes: We work almost exclusively with these two theme providers and have for decades. Why you ask?
